Jne of Dom's first big breaks was his performance on Rodney's "Nothing Goes Right" comedy special for HBO. In 1989 Irrera's own HBO "One Night Stand" earned him his first CableACE award for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special. Dom also starred in a solo stand-up special for HBO titled "Command Performance." Dom's guest-star TV credits include "Seinfeld", "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Becker" and "King of Queens."
