Gordie Brown was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. While working as a political cartoonist, his co-workers entered him in a talent contest, which he took first place. Gordie caught the entertainment bug. With nothing more than a suitcase, Gordie headed south for Vegas. His goal was to break into the big time and work with fellow Canadians Paul Anka and Rich Little. Well, the gamble paid off! In less than two years, Gordie was opening for both Anka and Little... and for other stars such as Jay Leno, Louie Anderson, Kenny Rogers, Barry Manilow, and Jerry Seinfeld...
Gordie then moved to Los Angeles where he had his national television debut on A & E's "Evening at the Improv".
After co-hosting NBC's "Friday Night Videos," Gordie made several memorable appearances on "Hollywood Squares", and also landed the starring role of 'Mr. Jones' on PAX TV's "Twice in a Lifetime," a drama series which continues to air allover the world.
Gordie was then approached by Harrahs corporation to headline his hilarious one-man show in Reno, NV, wbere be remained for over two years performing nightly to sold-out audiences. During which time, Gordie received numerous awards, including "Entertainer of the Year!", "Best Comedian!", "Best Show" and "Best Entertainer!"
Gordie remains one of the most sought-after entertainers in the corporate market today.
