  Paul Rodriguez

Paul Rodriguez' career has spanned almost three decades. His first big break came while doing comedy warm-ups for Norman Lear's show "Gloria." Lear ultimately wrote and developed a weekly series for Paul, "a.k.a. Pablo." Paul holds the honor and is enshrined at The Smithsonian as the first television show about a Mexican American Family on mainstream American television. He went on to two other series, "Trial and Error," and "Grand Slam" for CBS.
Paul segued nicely from television to motion pictures, making his feature film debut in the comedy "D.C. Cab." Paul also had co-starring roles in "Miracles," "The Whoopie Boys," "Quicksilver," and "Born In East L.A.," as well as "Made in America." Paul has starred in or been featured in over 29 films and literally countless television specials. He also starred in six HBO comedy specials including "Loco Slam," "Live in San Quentin" and the most recent being "Idiots and Armadillos," which he also wrote and executive-produced.
Paul landed the coveted role of outspoken fight physician Ferdie Pacheco in the big budget biopic "Ali" alongside Wil Smith a few years back and had appeared in countless others including "The Price of Glory," "Tortilla Soup," "Crocodile Dundee in LA," "The Shipment" and "Rat Race" with Whoopi Goldberg and Cuba Gooding Jr. In addition, Paul also found time to guest star in several episodes of Showtime's original series "Resurrection Boulevard. Through his production company, Payaso Entertainment, Paul also produced "The Latin Kings Of Comedy," a theatrical release in which he starred based on the successful 38-city tour of the same name.
