Eddie Griffin
Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990, which soon led to an appearance on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam, an HBO half-hour special, and the HBO special Voodoo Child. From there, Griffin began branching out into acting. Roles in such films as The Last Boy Scout and Coneheads soon led to his own hit series Malcolm and Eddie. After, he was offered a lead role in Double Take alongside Orlando Jones. Griffin then starred alongside Denzel Washington in John Q, Undercover Brother and many other films including: Armageddon, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Date Movie and Scary Movie 3. Eddie is also widely known for his award winning stand-up comedy special Dysfunktional Family. Eddie's most recent comedy special, You Can Tell 'Em I Said It, premiered on Comedy Central in February of 2011. Recent credits include "Last Supper," "American Hero" and "Black Dynamite." Comedy Central honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-ups of all time. Yes indeed, Eddie Griffin is one of the greatest.
