Currently the star of FX's "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll," Denis Leary made his Off-Broadway debut in the award-winning one-man show, “No Cure For Cancer," which had a sold-out run at The Actor's Playhouse in 1992. Since then, Denis has starred in, written and produced major motion pictures, directed an award-winning television film and, most recently, co-created, wrote and starred in the top-rated FX comedy, "Rescue Me." The show followed the exploits of Tommy Gavin, a dedicated firefighter trying to balance the challenges of his job with his complicated personal life. Before "Rescue Me," Denis starred in the critically hailed comedy series for ABC, "The Job." Denis, now a movie star also, has played roles opposite Clint Eastwood, in "True Crime," Rene Russo in "The Thomas Crown Affair" and Billy Crudup in "Jesus' Son." Most recently, he starred as Captain Stacy in "The Amazing Spiderman" and the voice of Diego in the animated "Ice Age" series. He has also starred in many comedies including “Wag the Dog" with Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman and “The Ref” with Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis. Of course, Denis Leary is also one of stand-up's best. Great act!
