Allan Havey

Allan Havey is considered "one of the best stand-ups working today" according to the New York Daily News and HBO finds him to be "Scathingly funny!"
In 1984 he was cast by Lorne Michaels in The New Show, working with the likes of Steve Martin, John Candy, Buck Henry, and Gilda Radner. He made his national talk-show television debut in 1986 on Late Night With David Letterman, and in 1989 was handpicked by HBO to be one of the initial hosts of The Comedy Channel, which later became Comedy Central. He created, hosted, and produced Night After Night with Alan Havey, which ran for three years and became a cult classic. During this time he also wrote and starred in two comedy specials for HBO; both were nominated for Cable Ace Awards.
As a film actor he has appeared in Internal Affairs with Richard Gere, Checking Out with Jeff Daniels, Hancock with Will Smith, and, most recently, The Informant with Matt Damon.
Allan's television work has included Seinfeld, Viper, The Sarah Silverman Program, Punk’d, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. In 2006 he was cast as a lead in the sitcom Freeride, which aired on Fox Television. He recently made his tenth appearance on The Late Night With David Letterman and will be featured in the next season of Men of a Certain Age.
