Joe Matarese grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ. After doing standup for three years in Philadelphia, he moved to New York City to pursue comedy more seriously. He is a regular at all the best clubs in New York and Los Angeles including The Melrose Improv, The Laugh Factory, The Comic Strip and Gotham Comedy Club. In the casinos, Joe has appeared at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun and at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
Joe has appeared on many TV shows including MTV's “Spring Break,” “The Jim Breuer Show,” “The Carson Daly Show,” NBC's “Late Friday,” Comedy Central's Premium Blend, “Last Comic Standing,” numerous times on “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” and most recently, The Late Show with David Letterman and on his very own Comedy Central Special, "Comedy Central Presents... Joe Matarese."
