Ben Kurland, called "Philly's favorite comedian" by The Philadelphia Inquirer, is a very funny stand-up comedian whose act of sharp observational humor relates to groups of all ages. On television, Ben has appeared on numerous shows including Comedy Central's Stand-Up and Deliver, A&E's Evening at the Improv, ABC's Comedy Club Special, and HBO's Comic Relief. In Atlantic City, he has appeared with Lou Rawls, Three Dog Night, and Drew Carey. Ben has also circled the globe for the United States Dept. of Defense entertaining American troops in Greenland, Newfoundland, South Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Guam, Iceland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Virgin Islands. For these efforts he was thrice awarded the Certificate of Esteem by the U.S. Department of Defense. He was also honored with a special Maya Proclamation, "Philadelphia's Thanks to Ben Kurland for Troop Morale Support" by the Philadelphia City Council.
