BIOGRAPHy

Aubrey “Drake” Graham is a Grammy-award nominated Canadian actor, rapper and singer. Drake shot to global fame upon the release of his critically-acclaimed 2009 mixtape So Far Gone and Best I Ever Had, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake’s music career began in 2006 with the release of his debut mixtape, Room For Improvement. The tape featured collaborations with Trey Songz, Lupe Fiasco and Nikelus F. Comeback Season. Drake’s second official mixtape was released in 2007 and featured the single Replacement Girl. The track featured vocals from Trey Songz and received heavy rotation on MTV and BET. In 2009, Drake released his highly anticipated third mixtape, So Far Gone, to critical acclaim and commercial success. Its lead single, “Best I Ever Had,” peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since been certified double platinum. This astronomical rise continued into 2010 with the release of his major label debut album, Thank Me Later. The album debuted at #1 and has been certified platinum. Drake released Nothing Was the same in 2013, and he continues to rap anywhere there’s a mic.

2010Major-label debut 'Thank Me Later' entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 and earned platinum certification, completing the fastest mixtape-to-mainstream ascent in hip-hop that decade.
2011'Take Care' arrived with 'Marvins Room' and 'She Will,' winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album and cementing the introspective lane Drake owns in hip-hop.
2013'Nothing Was the Same' went multi-platinum behind 'Started From the Bottom,' a chart-topping origin-story anthem that played from barbershops to arena soundchecks worldwide.
2021'Certified Lover Boy' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Drake's tenth consecutive chart-topper, with 'Way 2 Sexy' becoming his ninth No. 1 single, setting the record for most US top-ten singles from a single album.
2022Surprise-dropped dance-leaning seventh album 'Honestly, Nevermind,' scoring his eleventh Billboard 200 No. 1, with 'Jimmy Cooks' (feat. 21 Savage) reaching No. 1 on the Hot 100; followed it with the collaborative 'Her Loss' with 21 Savage, which moved 404,000 units in its first week.
2023'For All the Dogs' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with a Scary Hours Edition featuring J. Cole sending it back to the top of the charts weeks after release.
