Frank Caliendo

A comedian who specializes in impressions with a regular repertory of celebrity impersonations at his disposal, including Dr. Phil McGraw, Jack Nicholson, John Madden, Robert DeNiro and  many others, Frank Caliendo first made his mark as a regular multi-season contributor to the Saturday Night Live-style prime-time sketch comedy review MADtv. He remained with that series from 2001 (its seventh season) through 2006, then signed for his own eponymous sketch comedy program, Frank TV, on TBS in the fall of 2007. Caliendo is also well known for being the in-house prognosticator for Fox NFL Sunday. Caliendo’s resumé also includes repeat appearances on such programs as Late Night with David Letterman, The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, to name merely a few. Caliendo can do more than 120 impressions, and he’s one of the funniest people on earth.

Career Path

2001Joined the cast of MADtv as a repertory performer in its seventh season, bringing a catalog of over 120 celebrity impressions to the prime-time sketch comedy series.
2002Took over from Will Sasso as the show's George W. Bush impersonator, cementing his reputation as MADtv's go-to political impressionist.
2003Became a regular cast member on Fox NFL Sunday, delivering weekly game predictions through dead-on impersonations of John Madden, Terry Bradshaw, and other NFL personalities.
2006Performed at the annual Radio-Television Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C., where his George W. Bush impression earned a White House-adjacent invitation.
2007Launched Frank TV on TBS, his own primetime sketch comedy special built entirely around his celebrity impression repertoire spanning Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Dr. Phil, and dozens more.
2008TBS ordered eight additional episodes of Frank TV, extending the run and bringing new sketches to a national cable audience.
2009Opened a multi-year Las Vegas residency at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, running through 2011.
2012Departed Fox NFL Sunday after a decade-long run as the network's in-house comic prognosticator, replaced by Rob Riggle.
2024Performed at Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan, part of an ongoing national theater and comedy club circuit drawing on his 120-plus impression repertoire.
2026Touring actively with dates including Milwaukee Improv and other comedy club venues nationwide, sustaining a year-round live performance calendar.
