BIOGRAPHy

Nick Swardson grew up in the Minneapolis area and started in entertainment as a standup comic in the LA area. Swardson moved into features not simply as a comedic actor, but as a scriptwriter – first on the Jamie Kennedy’s Malibu’s Most Wanted (2003), then via a long-running association with Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison production company, for which he scripted and acted in the comedies The Benchwarmers (2006) and Grandma’s Boy (2006), and co-produced and tackled a supporting role in the Sandler-Kevin James farce, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. In TV, Swardson was a regular on the popular Comedy Central series Reno 911. In 2007, Swardson issued a his first comedy concert album, Party. The following year, he teamed up opposite Sandler in the farce You Don’t Mess with the Zohan. He has been featured in two Comedy Central Presents stand up specials, and his own one hour special, Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted? More recent credits include Pixels, The Ridiculous 6 and Hotel Transylvania 2. Swardson’s sketch show Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time, premiered on Comedy Central ran for two seasons. In 2011, Swardson starred in, co-wrote and co-produced the film Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star. That same year he starred alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari in the film 30 Minutes or Less. Nick Swardson is a hard act to follow and someone that should be seen, sooner rather than later.

2011Headlined his own Comedy Central hour-long special 'Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?' following two earlier 'Comedy Central Presents' spots.
2022Launched the 'Make Joke From Face' tour across more than 50 cities, kicking off in Atlantic City.
2024Released the stand-up special 'Make Joke From Face' on YouTube via 800 Pound Gorilla, taped at the San Jose Improv.
2025Appeared as Ben Daggett in Adam Sandler's 'Happy Gilmore 2' on Netflix, continuing his long-running Happy Madison collaboration.
2026Released the stand-up special 'Toilet Head' and announced a pause on touring to develop two films, four original screenplays, and a television series.
