Celebrated American country music singer, songwriter, and pianist Phil Vassar is known for his energetic performances and piano-driven sound. Raised in a musical household, Vassar developed a unique blend of country, bluegrass, and pop influences, eventually taking his talents to Nashville in the late 1980s. Before launching his solo career, Vassar established himself as a prolific songwriter, penning chart-topping hits for major country artists. His songwriting resume includes hits like Tim McGraw’s “My Next Thirty Years” and “For a Little While,” Alan Jackson’s “Right on the Money,” and Jo Dee Messina’s “Bye Bye” and “I’m Alright”.
