Roger Hodgson has been recognized as one of the most gifted composers, songwriters and lyricists of our time. As the legendary voice of Supertramp and composer of many of the band’s greatest hits, he gave us “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast In America,” “It’s Raining Again,” “School,” “Fools Overture” and so many others. His songs have remarkably stood the test of time and earned Roger and Supertramp an adoring worldwide following. During the time that Roger led the band, Supertramp sold well over 60 million albums. The wildly successful album, “Breakfast in America”, hit number one in countries around the world and stayed on the top of the charts for a full year, becoming one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Roger parted company with Supertramp in 1983. His first solo album, “In the Eye of the Storm,” was released in 1984 and became an international hit, selling over 2 million copies. In 2000 he released, “Open the Door,” and in 2001, Roger joined Ringo Starr in his All Star Tour. Currently, he is performing both public and private concerts in a variety of formats – solo, with backing band, and with symphony orchestra. In 2006, Roger released his first-ever DVD from his live solo concert in Canada. “Take The Long Way Home – Live in Montreal” went Platinum in just 7 weeks and hit #1 in all of Canada and is now multi-Platinum and Gold in France. Hodgson continues to tour the world.

1969Co-founded Supertramp, launching a progressive rock partnership that would sell over 60 million albums across the following decade.
1974Wrote and recorded 'Crime of the Century' with Supertramp, establishing the band's signature blend of progressive rock and lyrical introspection.
1977Penned 'Give a Little Bit' and co-wrote the 'Even in the Quietest Moments...' album, cementing his reputation as Supertramp's primary melodic voice.
1977Performed sold-out concerts worldwide in solo, backing-band, and symphony-orchestra formats, bringing 'Give a Little Bit,' 'School,' and 'Fools Overture' to audiences across Europe and the Americas.
1979'Breakfast in America' hit number one in countries around the world and stayed atop the charts for a full year, becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time, with Hodgson's compositions 'The Logical Song,' 'Dreamer,' and 'Take the Long Way Home' driving its global reach.
1984Released debut solo album 'In the Eye of the Storm,' which went platinum in Canada within a month and became an international hit, selling over 2 million copies.
2001Joined Ringo Starr on his All Starr Band Tour, sharing the stage with a rotating cast of rock legends across North America.
2006Released 'Take the Long Way Home: Live in Montreal,' the first-ever DVD from his live solo concert in Canada, which went Platinum in 7 weeks, hit number one across Canada, and earned multi-Platinum and Gold status in France.
2019Invested with the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by French Minister of Culture Franck Riester at a Paris ceremony, recognizing his contribution to Supertramp's enduring cultural legacy, while headlining a sold-out run at L'Olympia.
2026Maintained an active international touring schedule with upcoming dates across multiple continents, continuing to perform his Supertramp catalog alongside solo material for multi-generational audiences.
