BIOGRAPHy

Spencer Horsman was born in the entertainment business. Both of his parents were both former Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus clowns & his father, Ken, Ronald McDonald for 20 years. Spencer was introduced to magic when he was 4 years old when his father opened his magic shop. While performing with dad, Spencer started learning ventriloquism at age 8 and at that point started traveling & performing nationwide. A child prodigy at 15, Spencer had already made feature appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Jerry Springer Show, Talk Soup, The Statler Brothers Show as well as performing with David Copperfield & Lance Burton in Las Vegas. Now at 25, Spencer continues to entertain audiences all over the world with his extremely witty and engaging performances in the USA, Japan, England & Spain. He has performed for high profile stars including Ray Lewis, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Dan Aykroyd, Chazz Palminteri, Kenny Ortega, Bryan Singer, Steve Forbes, The Barenaked Ladies & Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Spencer was a featured performer Season 7 of America’s Got Talent.
 
 

Career Path

1994Debuted on national television as a child prodigy at age 15, appearing on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' and 'The Jerry Springer Show' while performing ventriloquism and magic.
1995Shared Las Vegas stages with David Copperfield and Lance Burton before the age of 16, building a reputation as one of the youngest professional-level illusionists in the country.
2007Co-founded Illusions Bar & Theater in Baltimore with his father Ken, himself a 20-year Ronald McDonald veteran and former Ringling Bros. clown, creating a permanent home venue for live magic.
2012Featured on Season 7 of 'America's Got Talent' as an escape artist, reaching the Quarterfinals and earning a national television audience for his water-tank escapes.
2014Returned to 'America's Got Talent' for Season 9 as a Quarterfinalist, cementing his status as one of the show's signature return acts.
2015Joined Criss Angel's touring production 'The Supernaturalists', a nine-illusionist showcase, before a rehearsal near-drowning incident during an underwater chain-escape stunt generated international news coverage.
2020Kept Illusions Bar & Theater's audience connected through virtual magic performances during the pandemic shutdown, as documented by Baltimore Magazine.
2024Headlined the ongoing 'Mischief & Deception Magic Show' residency at Illusions Bar & Theater, drawing sold-out weekend crowds to his Baltimore venue.
2026Continues performing multiple weekly 'Mischief & Deception' shows at Illusions Bar & Theater in Baltimore, sustaining the city's only dedicated full-time magic performance venue.
