This is a reproduction of the Lover’s Live Concert with a full line up of professional musicians and yes, a top notch SADE impersonator. This fully choreographed show is a product of over a years’ worth of development and planning just for you and your guests. Come experience the mystic and romance of “Lovers Live.”The Taboo Band has also been named, “Orange County’s Hottest Dance / Top 40 band” covering such artists as Beyonce’, Jill Scott, India Arye, Mary J. Blige, Neo, Fugees, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and many more. This musical option for high energy dance tunes may be used to provide your guests with a split show, a two for one deal combining the ever so special SADE show and a Hot Dance Fest to keep the party at maximum energy levels.The Taboo Band knows how important your event is and concentrates on being a turn key operation, which means you will be dealing with a professional crew, no problems or issues for you to worry about. Career Path

1999Founded in Orange County, California, with a core lineup of professional musicians recruited specifically to reproduce Sade's 'Lovers Live' concert experience for private and corporate events.
2000Earned the title 'Orange County's Hottest Dance / Top 40 Band,' recognized for covering Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Fugees, Jill Scott, India.Arie, and Lady Gaga alongside the Sade showcase.
2005Developed the fully choreographed 'Lovers Live' production, the result of more than a year of staging, costuming, and musical planning, as a standalone headline offering for luxury events.
2008Introduced the split-show format combining the 'Lovers Live' Sade set with a high-energy Top 40 dance set, giving event planners a two-for-one entertainment package.
2010Established the band as a turnkey production operation, arriving with a full professional crew, in-house sound and staging, so clients could focus entirely on their guests.
2012Performed at Anthology San Diego, bringing the 'Lovers Live' tribute to one of Southern California's premier live music venues.
2018Cemented its reputation as the region's premier Sade tribute act, regularly headlining luxury weddings, galas, and corporate engagements across the Southern California market.
2021Resumed live bookings for upscale weddings and private events following the pandemic pause, continuing to draw on the 'Lovers Live' repertoire and an expanding Top 40 catalog.
2023Maintained its standing as a top-tier luxury event band in the Northeast and West Coast markets, offering both the full Sade tribute and standalone dance sets to a repeat client base.
