BIOGRAPHy

Irish musician, singer, and songwriter Hozier had his international breakthrough after releasing his debut single “Take Me to Church”, which had been certified multi-platinum in several countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada. In 2013, he released his debut EP, featuring the single “Take Me to Church”. His debut studio album, released in 2014, topped the chart in Ireland and scored top ten positions on global charts. It has been certified 6× platinum in Ireland and multi-platinum in several countries. He embarked on an American and a European tour to support the album. In September 2018, Hozier released an EP, titled Nina Cried Power, featuring the title track as a single. He released his second album, Wasteland, Baby!, in March 2019. It debuted atop the US Billboard 200. 2013Released debut EP featuring 'Take Me to Church,' a song that went multi-platinum in the US, UK, and Canada within months of release and ignited global demand for the Irish singer-songwriter.
2014Dropped his self-titled debut album, which topped the Irish chart, reached the top ten globally, and earned 6× Platinum certification in Ireland alongside multi-platinum status in several countries.
2015'Take Me to Church' earned a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending 39 weeks on the chart and receiving Diamond certification in the US.
2018Released the EP Nina Cried Power, with its title track, featuring Mavis Staples, establishing Hozier's gospel-inflected songwriting voice ahead of his long-awaited second album.
2019Wasteland, Baby! debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Hozier the first Irish solo act to top the US album chart with a sophomore record, and launched a worldwide arena tour.
2023Released Unreal Unearth, a Dante's Inferno-framed concept album that debuted at No. 1 in Ireland and the UK, his first UK chart-topper, and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3.
2024'Too Sweet' reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Hozier his first Hot 100 leader and making him one of the rare artists to achieve both a No. 1 album (Wasteland, Baby!) and a No. 1 single in the US.
2024Completed 83 performances across 72 sold-out cities on the Unreal Unearth North American tour, drawing over one million fans across the 2023-2024 run.
2025Expanded the Unreal Unearth Tour into stadium venues for the first time, traversing South America, North America, and Europe across a third leg that began in Bogotá, Colombia.
