Joe Jonas has a new band! DNCE is an American dance-rock band. The group consists of Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and JinJoo Lee. The group released their debut single, “Cake by the Ocean”, in September 2015. The song reached the top 10 on several charts. Their debut EP, Swaay, was released the same year. They also were nominated for Favorite New Artist for the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards and Best Song to Lip Sync and Best Anthem for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards. In 2016, they released their self-titled album. The group performed at the 2017 Fashion Meets Music Festival and in April 2017, the band collaborated with  Nicki Minaj on their new single “Kissing Strangers.” DNCE and Joe Jonas tours hard, and they will definitely have you swaying, swooning and dancing in the aisles.

Career Path

2015Formed in Los Angeles by Joe Jonas with guitarist JinJoo Lee, bassist Cole Whittle, and drummer Jack Lawless, releasing the debut EP 'SWAAY' the same year.
2015'Cake by the Ocean,' the group's debut single, reached the top 10 on multiple charts and became one of the most-streamed pop-rock songs of the year.
2016Released the self-titled debut album 'DNCE,' anchored by the singles 'Toothbrush' and 'Body Moves,' while earning nominations for Favorite New Artist at the Kids' Choice Awards and Best Anthem at the Radio Disney Music Awards.
2017Collaborated with Nicki Minaj on 'Kissing Strangers,' the lead single from the 'People to People' EP, expanding the band's audience through one of pop's biggest collaborators.
2017Performed at the Fashion Meets Music Festival, cementing their reputation as a high-energy live act in the festival circuit.
2022Reunited with Kygo for 'Dancing Feet,' released through RCA Records and marking DNCE's return after a three-year hiatus; the band previewed the track live at Kygo's Super Bowl LVI weekend show in Los Angeles.
2022Followed the Kygo collaboration with additional new singles 'Got Me Good' and 'Move,' reestablishing the band's presence on streaming platforms.
2024Released the full-length album 'Music for People Who Believe in DNCE' via Republic Records, the band's first studio album since their 2016 self-titled debut.
