He has been dubbed “The Chosen One.” Gary Clark Jr. is an American musician out of Austin, Texas. Clark has performed with a who’s who of rock legends, including Eric Clapton, B. B. King and the Rolling Stones. He is well known for his fusion of blues, rock and soul music – with elements of hip hop. Clark’s signature trademarks are his distorted guitar sound, his improvisation skills and his smooth vocal style. Rolling Stone declared Clark “Best Young Gun” in its April 2011, “Best of Rock” issue and in 2014 and 2015, Clark won a Blues Music Award in the ‘Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year’ category.
