BIOGRAPHy

The Tedeschi Trucks Band is an American blues rock group based in Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 2010, the band is led by married couple Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi. Their debut album, Revelator (2011), won the 2012 Grammy for Best Blues Album. The band has released three studio and two live albums. Most recently, Let Me Get By came out in 2016, featuring ten new, original songs that together stand as a testament to the hard work, independent spirit, and now full-on commitment of the husband-and-wife team of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, plus the musicians and music professionals who are part of the band’s ongoing journey. The album’s artwork—a Mongolian golden eagle caught a moment after flying from its master’s glove—and even the album title, reflect the sense of total dedication that serves as the driving wheel of The Tedeschi Trucks Band. Career Path

2010Founded in Jacksonville, Florida by husband-and-wife Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, merging two celebrated solo careers into a blues-rock collective built for the road.
2011Debut album "Revelator" introduced a 12-piece lineup that fused blues, soul, and gospel, earning wide critical praise on release.
2011Won the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album for "Revelator", validating the band's ambitious vision at the outset of their career.
2013Released "Made Up Mind", a second studio album that deepened the band's original songwriting voice beyond their debut's improvisational roots.
2016"Let Me Get By" showcased ten original songs written entirely by the band, reflecting the full commitment of Trucks, Tedeschi, and their collaborators to an independent creative vision.
2019"Signs" marked the band's debut with a newly expanded lineup, channeling the urgency of the times into some of their most politically direct material.
2022"I Am the Moon", a four-volume, 24-song suite inspired by the 12th-century Persian poem "Layla and Majnun", was released across successive months as the band's fifth studio recording and most ambitious project to date.
2024Headlined the "Deuces Wild" tour alongside Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, drawing large outdoor crowds across North America through the summer.
2025Released "Mad Dogs and Englishmen Revisited (Live at Lockn')", a concert album recorded with the late Leon Russell's legendary band, honoring a foundational influence on the TTB sound.
2026Dropped sixth studio album "Future Soul" via Fantasy Records, with lead single "I Got You" produced by Mike Elizondo, and launched a 35-plus-date tour featuring co-headline sets with Jason Isbell and dates alongside Sheryl Crow.
