BIOGRAPHy

They’re from Virginia – and they’re proud of it. Old Dominion is a country music band formed in Nashville. The band consists of Matthew Ramsey (lead vocals), Trevor Rosen (guitar, keyboards), Whit Sellers (drums), Geoff Sprung (bass guitar), and Brad Tursi (guitar). Their music is contemporary country with rock instrumentation, and has pop and hip hop overtones. They released their first self-titled EP in 2014, followed by their debut studio album, Meat and Candy, which features the singles “Break Up with Him,” “Snapback” and “Song for Another Time.” Shortly before the album’s release, “Break Up with Him” reached No. 1 on Country Airplay. The album’s second single, “Snapback” hit number 2 on the Country Airplay in June 2016. Their second album, Happy Endings, dropped in March 2017. The band released “Make It Sweet” in November 2018. Make It Sweet is also the name of the corresponding tour, the band’s first as a headliner. Both “Make It Sweet” and “One Man Band” appear on the band’s third album, Old Dominion, released in October 2019. Old Dominion continues to tour the country with gusto. Virginia should be mighty proud.

2015Broke through on country radio with debut album 'Meat and Candy' and the single 'Break Up with Him,' which hit No. 1 on Country Airplay before the album's release.
2015'Snapback,' the second single off 'Meat and Candy,' climbed to No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart, cementing the Nashville quintet's place on mainstream country playlists.
2017Dropped 'Happy Endings', expanding the band's signature contemporary country-pop with rock instrumentation.
2018Launched the 'Make It Sweet Tour', their first as headliners, behind the same-named single that would anchor their third album.
2019Released their self-titled third album featuring both 'Make It Sweet' and 'One Man Band,' while continuing the kind of relentless national touring that built their fanbase from the road up.
2021Earned a fourth consecutive CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year and released 'Time, Tequila & Therapy,' the album later nominated for CMA Album of the Year in 2022.
2023Headlined the arena-scale No Bad Vibes Tour with rotating guests including Tyler Hubbard and Chase Rice, then released their fifth studio album 'Memory Lane' via RCA Nashville.
2024Claimed their seventh straight CMA Vocal Group of the Year trophy, the longest consecutive run in CMA Awards history.
2025Put out 'Barbara,' their most personal record to date, a 13-song meditation on mortality and joy, while kicking off the 'How Good Is That, World Tour' across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
2025Won their eighth consecutive Group of the Year honor at the Academy of Country Music Awards, an ACM record.
