BIOGRAPHy

Jessica Williams was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and made made her television debut as a series regular on the Nickelodeon series Just for Kicks in 2006. In 2012, she became The Daily Show’s youngest correspondent ever. Williams is a frequent performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles and has also made appearances on Season 3 of HBO’s Girls. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and has appeared in the film People Places Things. She currently co-hosts the comedy podcast Two Dope Queens with Phoebe Robinson. Career Path

2006Made her television debut as a series regular on the Nickelodeon series 'Just for Kicks', launching her career from her hometown of Los Angeles.
2012Joined 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' as its youngest correspondent ever, a distinction that put her on the national comedy map.
2015Appeared in the comedy film 'People Places Things' alongside Jemaine Clement and Regina Hall, marking her feature film debut.
2016Co-launched the comedy podcast '2 Dope Queens' with Phoebe Robinson, which became a hit and led to a multi-special HBO deal.
2017Starred as the lead in the Netflix film 'The Incredible Jessica James', a romantic comedy that showcased her as a top-of-the-call-sheet talent.
2018'2 Dope Queens' expanded into four HBO specials co-headlined with Phoebe Robinson, cementing Williams as a premium cable comedy voice.
2019Appeared as Lally Hicks in 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald', joining the Warner Bros. wizarding-world franchise.
2023Joined the main cast of Apple TV+'s 'Shrinking' as Gaby, earning a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
2024Starred in 'Road House', Amazon Prime Video's most-watched film of the year, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.
2025Returned for 'Shrinking' Season 2, again receiving an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress and delivering what critics called the series' strongest individual performance opposite Harrison Ford.
