Career Path

2002Developed SandStory, a live performance form using hands, sand, a light table, and projected imagery, and began touring the concept globally.
2012Reached the finals of NBC's 'America's Got Talent' Season 7, finishing 5th and introducing SandStory to a prime-time national audience of millions.
2013Performed the closing set of TED's TEDActive Conference with his piece 'The Rediscovery of Wonder!,' and presented at TEDGlobal in Edinburgh, Scotland.
2014Published 'The Face of Christ,' a hardcover book documenting the lives transformed by his signature SandStory illustration of Jesus's life.
2018Published 'SandStory: The Amazing Tale of How Sand Changed My Life,' a bestselling memoir detailing his path from America's Got Talent to a global performance career.
2020Performed SandStory virtually for corporate clients and faith communities worldwide, adapting his light-table format for broadcast during the pandemic.
2022Documented more than 15,000 live performances spanning 45 states and 27 countries, including events for world leaders such as President Carter, President Clinton, and King Abdullah.
2023Continued touring SandStory globally for Fortune 500 corporate events, faith conferences, and performing arts series across six continents.
2024Headlined the University of the Ozarks' Walton Arts & Ideas Series, demonstrating SandStory to students and faculty as a live keynote performance.
