Piff The Magic Dragon

America’s Got Talent finalist, Piff The Magic Dragon is also the stand out star of Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Imagine Larry David in a dragon suit performing jaw-dropping magic tricks and you’re on the right track. With over 12 million YouTube hits to his name Piff has performed to hundreds of thousands of people in preposterous venues such as Radio City Music Hall, the O2, London, and Sydney Opera House. His sidekick Mr Piffles, The World’s First Magic Performing Chihuahua has been levitated, laminated, shackled in a straitjacket and shot out of a cannon all in the name of entertainment. Just one thing: They don’t do Children’s Parties.

Career Path

2007Joined The Magic Circle as one of its youngest-ever lecturing members after becoming a member at 18, trading an IT career for the stage.
2011Appeared on Season 1 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, earning Penn & Teller's designation of "stunningly good magician" and their pick as favourite act of the season.
2015Reached the finals of NBC's America's Got Talent Season 10, then launched his headline residency at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the venue renamed its theater "The Piff the Magic Dragon Theater" in his honor.
2019Named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch and swept the Best of Las Vegas Awards, becoming the first act ever to win Best Comedian, Best Magician, and Best Headliner in the same year.
2020Relocated his Flamingo show to the 700-seat Flamingo Showroom under a three-year contract, more than doubling his nightly audience capacity.
2023Voted Magician of the Year by the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, the historic club's highest industry honor.
2024Surpassed 500,000 guests served at the Flamingo residency, with Mr. Piffles, the World's First Magic Performing Chihuahua, completing his final performances before passing at age 16.
2025Celebrated 10 years on the Las Vegas Strip with a month-long anniversary run at the Flamingo Showroom; the City of Las Vegas officially proclaimed "Piff the Magic Dragon Day" and lit the High Roller and the Eiffel Tower installation in green and yellow.
2026Extended his Flamingo residency through 2027 while touring North American performing arts centers, introducing Mr. Piffles II, the next canine co-star, in an updated show.
