BIOGRAPHy

Vancouver punk-pop quartet Hedley are led by front man Jacob Hoggard, who first rose to national prominence as a finalist on the 2004 season of Canadian Idol. In 2005, he formed Hedley with guitarist Dave Rosin, bassist Tommy Mac and drummer Chris Crippin. The band generated a buzz at the Canadian Music Week 2005 media showcase and soon after signed a deal with Universal. The band’s self-titled debut followed that fall, generating the hits “Trip” and “On My Own.” The album quickly went platinum and Hedley spent the summer of 2006 supporting Yellowcard and Matchbook Romance on a North American tour before their album hit U.S. stores in September. Famous Last Words arrived in October 2007. The dance-punk-infused The Show Must Go followed in 2009. In 2010, the band performed Cha-Ching at the closing ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. The band’s fourth studio album, Storms, was released in 2011 and was also Hedley’s most successful album thus far. Hedley won the Juno Award for Best Pop Album in 2012. The album produced two top-20 singles, “Invincible” and “One Life.” After the success of Storms, Hedley released a new single called “Kiss You Inside Out” which was met with critical acclaim and netted the band their highest chart peak to date. The band’s album, Wild Life, was released in the U.S. in May 2014. Hello followed in 2015. Hedley continues to rock hard all over the world.
