World acclaimed illusionist and mentalist Shimshi is currently the resident illusionist for the Wynn Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Steve Wynn says: “Shimshi is the best” and personally welcomed him to Wynn and Encore since 2009. In 2012, Mr. Wynn had Shimshi create an illusion act for his 100 million dollar featured show, “Le Rêve.” Over 15 Million people have witnessed Shimshi‘s magic when he appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” where Shimshi was thrilled to be the last magician standing out of hundred of magicians! Recently, Shimshi appeared on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” where he blew everyone’s minds as usual and won the Fool US trophy! Shimshi has performed his corporate show for many of the top Fortune 500 companies. He is also privileged to perform at many of Hollywood’s biggest celebrity events. Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg, Kris Jenner, Ryan Seacrest, Usher and Tiger Woods are just a few of the stars that have witnessed Shimshi‘s magic, as well as Beyonce, The Prince of Saudi Arabia and President Bill Clinton.

Career Path

2002Won the Magic Olympics Award presented by the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood, the first of three consecutive wins from 2002 to 2004, establishing him as one of the top competitive illusionists in the industry.
2004Named Resident Illusionist at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, his first major Strip residency, followed by featured runs at the World's Greatest Magic Show at the Sahara and the V Show at Planet Hollywood.
2007Made multiple national television appearances, including on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' 'Regis and Kelly,' and 'Master of Illusions,' building a broadcast profile that amplified his reputation beyond the Las Vegas Strip.
2008Appeared on NBC's 'America's Got Talent' Season 3, becoming the last magician to reach the live shows from a field of hundreds of competing magicians, with his performances witnessed by over 15 million viewers.
2009Personally welcomed by Steve Wynn as Resident Illusionist at the Wynn and Encore Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, a relationship that has continued to anchor his career on the Strip.
2012Created a custom illusion act for Steve Wynn's $100 million featured production 'Le Rêve,' with the illusions Shimshi designed remaining an integral part of the show throughout its run.
2019Appeared as a guest on 'Huckabee' on TBN, one of several national television bookings that extended his audience well beyond the corporate and celebrity private-event circuit.
2023Appeared on The CW's 'Penn and Teller: Fool Us,' successfully baffling both Penn and Teller with his mentalism act and earning the coveted Fool Us trophy.
2025Continued his long-running residency at Wynn Las Vegas while performing mentalism and illusion at corporate events for top Fortune 500 clients, cementing more than 15 years as the Strip's pre-eminent resident illusionist.
