Nimesh Patel is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and Emmy-nominated writer recognized for his sharp, observational humor and prolific output. Born in 1986 to Indian Gujarati immigrant parents in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, Patel initially pursued a career in finance, graduating from New York University in 2008. Following a stint in the corporate world, he transitioned to comedy in 2009, quickly making a name for himself with his unique perspective on cultural experiences and daily life.Patel’s career breakthrough came when Chris Rock hired him to write for the 2016 Academy Awards.
