Country star Jon Pardi, from Dixon, California, is best known for his neotraditional style, Pardi has become a leading figure in modernizing honky-tonk by incorporating traditional elements like fiddle and steel guitar into his sound. Growing up on a ranch, Pardi’s musical journey began early. Influenced by his grandmother’s karaoke machine and country legends like George Jones and George Strait, he began writing songs at 12 and formed his first band by 14. After high school and a stint at Butte College, he moved to Nashville in 2008 to pursue his career. Pardi signed with Capitol Nashville and released his debut album, Write You a Song, in 2014. His major breakthrough came with the 2016 album California Sunrise, which featured multi-platinum number-one hits like “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt on My Boots”. Subsequent albums, including Heartache Medication (2019) and Mr. Saturday Night(2022), solidified his status with further chart-topping success. in 2023, Pardi made history as the first California native inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
