Country outlaw Gavin Adcock was born in Athens, Georgia and Adcock grew up working on his family’s cattle farm in Watkinsville. He initially pursued a sports career, playing NCAA football as a nose tackle for Georgia Southern University. However, a severe knee injury in 2021 forced him off the field. During his recovery, he turned to songwriting and guitar, channeling his rural roots into music. Adcock quickly cultivated a massive grassroots fanbase by releasing high-energy anthems and raw breakup ballads online. His breakthrough, Platinum-certified viral smash “A Cigarette,” skyrocketed his career. This led to a major-label deal with Warner Music Nashville. His studio albums, Actin’ Up Again (2024) and Own Worst Enemy (2025), both became massive streaming successes. The latter debuted at #4 on the Billboard Country Chart. Moving into 2026, Adcock added Executive Producer to his achievements. He curated and released Country Never Dies. The 11-track tribute album features up-and-coming artists covering timeless country classics. His rising industry status earned him a New Artist of the Year nomination at the 60th ACM Awards. Adcock has achieved over 1.5 billion global streams. He is currently playing sold-out stadiums and arenas across North America on his headlining “The Day I Hang It Up Tour.” He is also supporting Morgan Wallen on the road.
