As one of the most successful country artists today, Blake Shelton has sold over 10 million records, 30 million singles and generated a total of 1.7 billion streams worldwide. Shelton is the recipient of countless awards including nine CMA awards, five ACM awards and eight CMT Awards including Artist of the Year. Shelton made People Magazine history when he became the first country artist to grace the cover issue of People’s Sexiest Man Alive. Blake made his first splash in 2001 with the chart-topping single “Austin,” which spent five weeks at number one. “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red” followed in 2002, pushing Shelton’s accompanying debut album to gold status The Dreamer appeared in February 2003, hot on the heels of another number one single titled “The Baby.” Three years later, Shelton scored his fourth consecutive gold album with Pure BS, which featured a guest appearance by then girlfriend Miranda Lambert.
