Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are generally regarded as one of the best live bands ever. Guitarist Steven Van Zandt joined the band while recording Born to Run and became one of the most honored and most influential members. Following September 11, 2001, Springsteen and the Band recorded The Rising in 2002, and then hit the road for a tour. After The Rising, Springsteen recorded two more albums without the E Streeters, followed by Magic, released in October 2007. Magic was followed up by a tour during which original band-member Danny Federici passed away. On January 27, 2009 Springsteen’s twenty-fourth album, Working on a Dream, was released. In February 2009, Springsteen and the E Street Band provided the half-time entertainment at Super Bowl. As Springsteen began work on a new studio album in 2011, Clarence Clemons died from complications from a stroke. Clemons’ last recorded solo appeared on “Land of Hope and Dreams,” one of many politically charged songs on the resulting album, Wrecking Ball which appeared the first week of March 2012. Bruce came out with High Hopes in 2014. Bruce Springsteen continues to add to his legend rock the world. He’s awesome!
