Larry Wilmore

Larry Wilmore is an Emmy Award-winning TV producer, actor, comedian and writer whose career spans more than 20 years. He is currently the host of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, which airs on Comedy Central. He recently served as executive producer of the ABC comedy, “Blackish.” Wilmore is best known for his memorable appearances as the “Senior Black Correspondent” on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, as well his own Showtime town hall-style comedy specials, Larry Wilmore’s Race, Religion & Sex. Wilmore has written for NBC’s The Office, The PJ’s, which he co-created, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and In Living Color. He also served as creator, executive producer, and writer of The Bernie Mac Show, for which he received the 2002 Emmy Award for “Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series” and a 2001 Peabody Award. Wilmore released his first book, “I’d Rather We Got Casinos and Other Black Thoughts“ in 2009. Larry Wilmore continues to perform around the globe. Great show!
