Al Franken is an Emmy Award-winning television writer and producer, New York Times bestselling author, and Grammy-winning comedian. In 1975, Al Franken was a member of the original writing staff and famous comedians that created NBC's "Saturday Night Live." Al remained with the show on and off until 1995.
