Celebrity Comedians
Kevin Pollak

Impressions! If you want 'em Kevin Pollak has 'em. It sounds apocryphal, but it's true: 13-year-old Kevin Pollak did begin his Bar Mitzvah speech with "A funny thing happened on the way to the temple..." In fact, Pollak's rabbi had encouraged him to do so; even at this early stage, the boy evinced a gift for comic timing. By 17, he was doing stand-up in his native San Francisco. Since then, his career has flourished as a great impressionist, writer and actor. After making several major television appearances including killer sets on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and two HBO Specials, Kevin was given several opportunities to shine in such films as Barry Levinson's Avalon, LA Story and Rob Reiner's A Few Good Men. After stellar performances in those fine films, Kevin's film career really went into warp-drive in the rest of the 90's with, among others, choice roles in the two Grumpy Old Men flicks, The Usual Suspects, Casino and Tom Hanks' That Thing You Do. Since the turn of the millennium, he has shown no signs of slowing down, having landed roles in many more movies including The Wedding Planner, Dr Doolittle 2, The Santa Clause 2 and The Whole Nine Yards, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Angel from Hell and The hit series The Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon Prime.
