Celebrity Comedians
Drew Carey

He's money for just about any event. With the success of his sitcom The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Drew Carey has had the rare honor of having had two concurrent hit shows on the air at the same time. Drew Carey continues to diversify his career, as exemplified by starring in The Wonderful World of Disney's live-action television musical, Geppetto, in which he sang and danced as the title character. Carey's debut book, Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined is a hilarious look at life from the author's unique perspective. The book, like his comedy, is raw, honest, explicit, and politically incorrect. One of his first big breaks was competing on Star Search '88. In January 1991, Carey landed a spot on HBO's 14th Annual Young Comedians Special. That same year, he experienced a dream come true during his first appearance on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson when Johnny bestowed upon him the rare honor of having the comic come over and sit on the couch after his set — and kept him there during the whole show. Carey has written and starred in his own Showtime special, Drew Carey: Human Cartoon, and has performed at the annual Montreal Comedy Festival. Now, he is the star of the daytime institution, The Price is Right. Drew Carey has got the right stuff.
