Celebrity Comedians
Carol Leifer
She's the woman behind Seinfeld. Carol Leifer is one America's funniest women - on stage and off. In fact, she's so funny that Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld actually modeled Julia Louise-Dreyfus' character "Elaine" on NBC's "Seinfeld" after her and made her one of the show's head writers and producers. Soon after, Carol was given her own show on the WB Network, "Alright Already." She also wrote for "Almost Perfect" and HBO's award-winning "The Larry Sanders Show." Carol has made dozens of television appearances as a comedian, including multiple appearances on "The Tonight Show," and four of her own cable television specials. She has also been the opening act for such stars as Frank Sinatra and Wynonna Judd. Carol Leifer is definitely someone to see. Jerry approves.
