Lily Tomlin continues to venture across an ever-widening range of media, starring in TV, theater, motion pictures, animation and video. Throughout her extraordinary career, Lily has received numerous awards, including: six Emmys; 2 Tonys; a Grammy and the list goes on. Lily’s break came in 1969, when she joined the cast of Laugh-In and immediately rose to national prominence with her characterizations of Ernestine and Edith Ann. Lily went on to co-write, with Jane Wagner, and star in a slew of comedy television specials including: The Lily Tomlin Show, Lily: Sold Out and Lily for President? (1982), for which she won three Emmy Awards. She has guest starred on numerous television shows and played the boss on the CBS series, Murphy Brown. On film, Lily made her debut in Robert Altman's Nashville for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. She went on to star in The Late Show, Moment By Moment, 9 to 5, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, All of Me and in Big Business. In the 90’s, Lily appeared in Shadows and Fog, Short Cuts and The Beverly Hillbillies. Lily also starred in Flirting With Disaster, Krippendorf’s Tribe and Tea With Mussolini. In 2002, Lily joined NBC's, The West Wing, playing President Bartlett’s assistant, Debbie Fiderer -a role for which she received a SAG nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series. 2015 was a big year for Lily with her starring in the hit Netflix series Grace and Frankie and the feature film Grandma, which was featured at the Sundance Film Festival. Her performance as Frankie garnered her an Emmy nomination.
