With over 20 years of stand-up comedy and television under his belt, Chris Monty continues to delight audiences worldwide. His latest high profile projects include his stand-up comedy special titled “What’s the Worst That Could Happen” (Amazon Prime), b (HBO), Red Oaks (Amazon Prime), Paul Bart: Mall Cop 2 (Sony Pictures),  Kevin Can Wait (CBS), and Orange is the New Black (Netflix) In his stand-up, Chris Monty channels a refreshing and unique style of the 1960’s cool funnyman mixed with a modern chic. His unique take on current topics and storytelling are reminiscent of the comics that would keep The Rat Pack in stitches for weeks. He spans generations in that older crowds love his his cool, retro style and younger crowds see a cadence that they haven’t seen on stage. It is truly something unique to experience. Career Path

2002Began performing stand-up in New York City clubs, developing a Rat Pack-influenced style that spans generations by pairing classic cool cadence with contemporary storytelling.
2013Co-wrote and starred in the off-Broadway comedy 'Shut Up Sit Down and Eat' at The Players Theatre in New York City.
2014'Shut Up Sit Down and Eat' transferred to the Snapple Theater Center and received an Off Broadway Alliance nomination for Best Unique Theatrical Experience.
2015Appeared in the Sony Pictures comedy 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2', alongside Kevin James in a film that grossed over $100 million worldwide.
2016Landed recurring roles on two prestige cable series simultaneously, appearing on HBO's 'Vinyl' and Amazon Prime's 'Red Oaks'.
2017Joined the CBS sitcom 'Kevin Can Wait' in a recurring role opposite Kevin James, adding a third major network credit to his resume.
2020Released his stand-up special 'What's the Worst That Could Happen' on Amazon Prime, bringing his 1960s cool-funnyman persona to a global streaming audience.
2022Released the Dry Bar Comedy special 'Just Be Happy', filmed for the platform's subscription service and widely shared on social media.
2025Launched the national touring comedy show 'Married, Single and a Baby' alongside co-headliners Joe Bublewicz and Vanessa Hollingshead, playing theaters across North America.
2026Continued touring with club and theater dates including a New Year's Eve Comedy Countdown headlining spot, keeping a consistent national live presence.
