While still in school, her debut single, "I've Cried (The Blue Right Out of My Eyes)," reached the Top 25 on the country charts. Crystal Gayle, Somebody Loves You and Crystal yielded smash singles, including "I'll Get Over You" (her first #1 hit). With, We Must Believe In Magic, Crystal became the first female country artist to achieve platinum sales. In 1982, Crystal recorded the chart-topping duet "You and I" with Eddie Rabbit. Crystal has a shelf full of awards to go along with her hits, including a Grammy for "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue." Crystal has had two highly acclaimed CBS TV specials, an HBO special and has hosted many specials such as the American Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. Gayle opened the new millennium with 2000's In My Arms, an album of children's songs. In 2009, Gayle received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gayle is still going strong. She will be releasing Am I That Easy to Forget in 2017. Crystal Gayle continues to perform before adoring audiences.
