We just can’t get enough! Depeche Mode’s debut album, Speak & Spell, was released in 1981. It peaked at Number Ten on the U.K. Albums chart. The single, “Just Can’t Get Enough,” reached Number Eight on the U.K. Singles chart. In 1987, they released Music for the Masses, their sixth album, which became the band’s highest-charting in the U.S. upon its release, reaching Number Thirty Five on the Billboard 200. The singles, “Strangelove,” “Never Let Me Down Again” and “Behind the Wheel” all reached the Hot 100, a first for the band. In the U.K., the singles were all Top 25 hits. In 2009, Sounds of the Universe was released. It peaked at Number Two on the U.K. Albums chart and Number Three on the Billboard 200. “Perfect” was another Number One hit on the Billboard Dance Songs chart. In 2013, Depeche Mode showed no signs of slowing down and released Delta Machine. Depeche Mode, who have sold over 100 million albums, continue to dazzle sold-out arenas around the world.
