BIOGRAPHy

Magician Dustin Tavella is the 2021 winner of Season 16 of America’s Got Talent. Hailing from Virginia Beach, Dustin inspired viewers to vote for him with his incredible magic combined with his heartwarming stories about his wife and his love for his adopted sons Xander and Sylas. He beat out other finalists including runner up aerialist Aidan Bryant and comedian Josh Blue to win the $1 million prize. Dustin has also worked as a professional musician as well. Dustin is currently headlining America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE at the Luxor Hotel and Casino with other top AGT alumni including Preacher Lawson, season 15 winner Brandon Leake, The Clairvoyants, Light Balance, world-renowned knife-throwing Deadly Games, Duo Transcend and Season 14 winner singer, Kodi Lee. Career Path

2010Launched a music career as dUSTIN tAVELLA, writing and recording R&B-style pop and posting originals to YouTube after years working with humanitarian organization Compassion International.
2013Released the single "Everybody Knows (Douchebag)," which went viral after pop star Selena Gomez choreographed a dance video to the track and later made a cameo in the official video alongside Danny Trejo.
2015Released the single "Blink" featuring Baby Bash, blending his R&B songwriting roots with radio-ready production and demonstrating the musical range he would later weave into his live magic shows.
2018Pivoted to professional magic, developing a show format that combined original live music, illusions, and heartfelt storytelling centered on his wife Kari and their adopted sons Xander and Sylas.
2021Won Season 16 of NBC's "America's Got Talent," claiming the $1 million prize by out-polling nine finalists including runner-up aerialist Aidan Bryant and comedian Josh Blue with his blend of magic and family storytelling.
2022Began headlining "America's Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE" at the Luxor Hotel and Casino alongside AGT alumni Preacher Lawson, Brandon Leake, Kodi Lee, and The Clairvoyants.
2023Competed on "America's Got Talent: All-Stars" on NBC, returning to the franchise that launched his national profile.
2024Opened "Now I See" at the Reza Live Theatre in Branson, Missouri, a two-hour production combining breathtaking illusions, live music across multiple genres, and his signature message-driven storytelling.
2025Continued his Branson residency at Reza Live Theatre while also headlining corporate stages, building "Now I See" into one of the top-rated family shows in Missouri's most competitive entertainment market.
