BIOGRAPHy

Eric Tartaglione is one of the funniest comedians to emerge on the New York scene in quite some time. His energetic comedy comes from his poking fun at his shortcomings, his Italian background and the trials and tribulations of his home life. Besides gracing the stages of New York’s best clubs including Comic Strip Live, Caroline’s on Broadway and Dangerfield’s, Eric has been seen on Fios 1 TV and NBC’s Last Comic Standing and is heard regularly heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and also made a splash participating in the “Desperate Husbands” show as part of The New York Underground Comedy Festival. At the casinos, Eric works at the country’s best including Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel and Casino, Resorts and CT’s Mohegan Sun sharing the stage with big name acts such as Bob Nelson, Bobby Collins and Greg Giraldo. Eric is currently is the co-author and co-star Off Broadway hits “Shut up Sit Down and Eat” and “My Big Fat Dysfunctional Life.” 

Career Path

2014Co-wrote and starred in 'Shut Up Sit Down & Eat,' a four-comedian 'plomedy' that ran at the Snapple Theater Center in Times Square and earned a nomination from the Off-Broadway Alliance for Best Unique Theatrical Experience.
2015'Shut Up Sit Down & Eat' returned to the Snapple Theater Center for a second limited Off-Broadway engagement, capping more than 120 performances at theaters, clubs, and casinos nationwide.
2015Co-starred in the Off-Broadway production 'My Big Fat Dysfunctional Life,' a second original stage vehicle that showcased his range beyond stand-up comedy.
2000sBuilt his stand-up foundation at New York's top-tier rooms, Comic Strip Live, Caroline's on Broadway, and Dangerfield's, honing a persona rooted in Italian heritage, domestic chaos, and blunt self-awareness.
2000sAppeared on NBC's 'Last Comic Standing,' landing a national network credit that widened his reach well beyond the New York club circuit.
