Career Path

2016Began collaborating informally after Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra, and Emerson Hart of Tonic discovered their chemistry performing together at a private show.
2018Formally launched the supergroup Ezra Ray Hart, pooling a combined catalog of 18 U.S. top-ten singles, five number-one hits, and over 20 million albums sold across the three founding bands.
2019Debuted their first national run as Ezra Ray Hart, delivering a headline set built around Sugar Ray's 'Fly,' Better Than Ezra's 'Good,' Tonic's 'If You Could Only See,' and 'King of New Orleans,' 'Every Morning,' and 'Someday.'
2020Headlined the All Oregon E-Fair virtual concert series alongside Chicago and Jon Pardi, presented by the Oregon State Fair during the pandemic shutdown.
2022Headlined the Big O Tires Concert Series at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, drawing one of the fair's largest concert crowds.
2024Played a sold-out show at the Xcite Center inside Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, expanding the trio's casino-resort headline footprint.
2025Took the Sunset Stage at Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, sharing the lineup with Luke Combs, Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, and Shaboozey.
2025Announced their debut headline tour, 'Never Ending '90s Presents: Ezra Ray Hart, 90s Hits & Xmas Riffs,' a month-long coast-to-coast run pairing the trio's catalog with holiday covers.
2025Kicked off the '90s Hits & Xmas Riffs' run at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh and toured stops including Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, Foxwoods Resort Casino, and the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio.
2025Closed the 'Never Ending '90s' debut headline tour at The Grove of Anaheim after 18 stops across the United States.
