BIOGRAPHy

Ian Lara is one of the hottest rising comics in New York City. He found internet success when he recorded his “Comedy Central Stand up Featuring Ian Lara” which has garnered over 10 million views, he also made an appearance on the first season of “NBC’s Bring the Funny” and made his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon all in the same year. He was a regular player on ‘This week at the Comedy Cellar’ on Comedy Central with his second Comedy Central set hitting the 10 million views mark yet again. He’s been featured in The New Yorker Magazine and was named a “2021 JFL NEW FACES” of comedy. On February 10th, 2022 he debuted his Comedy Central half-hour special titled “Growing Shame”. Shortly after on November, 11th, 2022 he debuted his first standalone HBO special “Ian Lara: Romantic Comedy” now streaming on MAX. In 2023 he has hit the ground running and has received the high honor of being name one of “Variety’s 2023 Comics to Watch” he then went on to make his third appearance on The Tonight show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Career Path

2006On December 18, 2006, Boyle married real estate investor Donald Ray Thomas II in San Antonio, Texas.
2008Boyle also guest-starred as an ambitious reporter involved with the suspects in a possible murder in the Law & Order 2008 episode "Submission".
2009In 2009, Boyle portrayed Mary in Baby on Board.
2010In 2010, she starred as Kathy in Cougar Hunting.
2013In 2013, Boyle portrayed Witch Agnes in the horror comedy film Hansel & Gretel Get Baked.
2015In 2015, she portrayed Ms.
2020In 2020, after a five-year break, she returned to acting to star as Grace in the film Death in Texas alongside Stephen Lang.
2024Continued extensive live touring and regional performances across major US venues.
2025Scheduled to perform at prominent entertainment festivals and theater shows.
2026Expected to launch a nationwide historic tour highlighting legacy catalog.
