Jessica Sanchez
Jessica Sanchez is best known as the Season 11 runner-up on American Idol and the winner of America’s Got Talent Season 20 (2025). Born in Chula Vista, CA the vocal powerhouse has since balanced her soaring music career with motherhood. Sanchez first captured global attention in 2012 on American Idol, where she received immense praise for her covers of Whitney Houston and Etta James. Following her breakout, she released her debut album Me, You & the Music in 2013. In a historic full-circle moment, she returned to the America’s Got Talent stage in 2025—having previously competed on AGT’s inaugural season at age 10—and was officially crowned the Season 20 champion.  Sanchez experienced two major life milestones shortly after her AGT victory, giving birth to her first child, Eliana Mae, in October 2025 with her husband Rickie Gallardo. Having performed during the 2025–2026 New Year countdown at Newport World Resorts in Manila, Sanchez has continued to expand her international presence. She is actively involved in projects in the Philippines, performing for the ASEAN Summit and gearing up to release a brand-new studio album.

2006Competed on the inaugural season of 'America's Got Talent' at age 11, reaching the semifinals before being eliminated.
2009Released the single 'Don't Stop the Music,' an early indicator of the vocal range that would later stun national television audiences.
2012Finished runner-up on Season 11 of 'American Idol,' drawing Simon Fuller and Interscope Records to sign her on the basis of her finale performances.
2013Released debut album 'Me, You & the Music' on Interscope and guest-starred on Fox's 'Glee,' establishing herself as a crossover presence on both pop radio and primetime network television.
2014Released the single 'This Love,' extending her chart presence two years after 'American Idol' and signaling a shift toward a more personal songwriting voice.
2018Released the single 'Millionaire,' continuing to build an independent catalog outside the major-label framework that launched her.
2021Released 'Us,' written in direct response to anti-Asian xenophobia during the COVID-19 pandemic, positioning her voice as an advocate beyond pure pop entertainment.
2022Self-wrote and released 'Baddie,' a women's empowerment anthem that demonstrated her growth as a songwriter independent of producers.
2025Returned to 'America's Got Talent' for Season 20, nineteen years after her first appearance, earned Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer in the auditions, and won the competition on the finale, becoming the first former contestant in the show's history to win.
2026Released 'Szn,' an eight-track album featuring 'Electric Honey' and 'Take Me Higher,' and headlined a concert at Araneta Coliseum in Manila alongside Regine Velasquez and Martin Nievera.
