BIOGRAPHy

Julio Iglesias Jr. was interested in modeling and acting before starting a music career. Iglesias Jr. was born in Madrid, Spain, later moving to the U.S.. As a college student in California, Julio Iglesias’ son got into show business. After getting a role in the Out of the Blue series and hosting The Travel Channel’s Latin-related shows, Julio Iglesias Jr. decided to step into the music scene. His song, “Nothing Else,” was included on 1999’s Music of the Heart soundtrack. To get his first record done, Iglesias Jr. worked with producer Rodolfo Castillo, releasing an EP called One More Chance. That song’s video was his first one rotated by MTV Latino. In 2000, Julio Iglesias Jr. was awarded as Best New Artist by FAMA. That same year, one of his songs was chosen to be part of the anti-drug charitable album, No Absolutely No, produced by Sony Music Japan. In 2014, he released Latin Lovers. Julio Iglesias Jr. continues to tour all over the globe.

Career Path

1997Launched his entertainment career by landing a role in the ABC series 'Out of the Blue' and hosting Latin travel programming for The Travel Channel.
1999Released his debut album 'Under My Eyes' on Epic Records, recorded in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles with producer Rodolfo Castillo, yielding the single 'One More Chance,' the first video rotated by MTV Latino.
1999Contributed 'Nothing Else' to the 'Music of the Heart' soundtrack, a Sony Pictures charity album benefiting music education.
2000Named Best New Artist by FAMA, recognizing his rapid crossover breakthrough across Latin and English-language markets.
2008Won the first season of CMT's reality competition 'Gone Country,' beating out established acts by convincing host John Rich and a panel of Nashville insiders of his country authenticity.
2008Released 'The Way I Want You' to country radio following his 'Gone Country' victory, backed by producer John Rich.
2014Joined forces with Nuno Resende and Damien Sargue for the trilingual compilation album 'Latin Lovers,' expanding his reach across French, Portuguese, and Spanish-speaking audiences.
2020Released the EP 'Timeless,' offering musically inventive interpretations of five of Julio Iglesias Sr.'s signature hits and positioning the tribute as a bridge between generations.
2026Touring the United States as headliner of 'The Julio Iglesias Experience,' performing at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, the Arcada Theatre in Saint Charles, and marquee dates across the Northeast and Midwest.
