Learnmore Jonasi

Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor Learnmore Jones is taking the world by storm! At over 6 feet tall, very few can ignore his captivating presence on stage. His comedy is infused with personal experiences, sharp observations, and a unique perspective that brings smiles to faces everywhere! With performances in 20 countries, Learnmore has united audiences through laughter at theaters, festivals, comedy clubs, and on popular TV shows. His comedic journey has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival winner and the 2023 Audience Choice award at the Jersey City Comedy Festival. In addition to these recent honors, he was awarded the Outstanding Comedian of the Year at the 2019 National Arts Merit Awards, and also won the Pan African Comic of the Year at the Savanna Comic Choice Awards. His rising star continued after an appearance on America’s Got Talent in May 2024, where he secured the coveted Golden Buzzer and is one of the only comedians to reach the finals of AGT. Career Path

2012Performed for the first time at the Simuka Comedy Night in Harare.
2018Performed at the Kampala Comedy Festival in Uganda and the Kigali International Comedy Festival in Rwanda.
2019Won the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) as Outstanding Comedian of the Year.
2019Won the Savanna Comic Choice Awards as Pan African Comic of the Year.
2019Won the people's choice award in Steve Harvey's Stand Up Spotlight competition.
2021Was part of the cast of the second season of 'Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar' hosted by Comedy Central on DStv.
2023Won the Boston Comedy Festival.
2024Received a Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews on 'America's Got Talent'.
2024Reached the finals of 'America's Got Talent' and placed 5th overall.
2024Headlined the Shoko Festival in Zimbabwe.
