BIOGRAPHy

They’re from Virginia – and they’re proud of it. Old Dominion is a country music band formed in Nashville. The band consists of Matthew Ramsey (lead vocals), Trevor Rosen (guitar, keyboards), Whit Sellers (drums), Geoff Sprung (bass guitar), and Brad Tursi (guitar). Their music is contemporary country with rock instrumentation, and has pop and hip hop overtones. They released their first self-titled EP in 2014, followed by their debut studio album, Meat and Candy, which features the singles “Break Up with Him,” “Snapback” and “Song for Another Time.” Shortly before the album’s release, “Break Up with Him” reached No. 1 on Country Airplay. The album’s second single, “Snapback” hit number 2 on the Country Airplay in June 2016. Their second album, Happy Endings, dropped in March 2017. The band released “Make It Sweet” in November 2018. Make It Sweet is also the name of the corresponding tour, the band’s first as a headliner. Both “Make It Sweet” and “One Man Band” appear on the band’s third album, Old Dominion, released in October 2019. Old Dominion continues to tour the country with gusto. Virginia should be mighty proud.

2007The band Old Dominion is formed in Nashville, Tennessee.
2013Opened for Kenny Chesney on the 'No Shoes Nation Tour' and released their debut single 'Shut Me Up'.
2014Released their self-titled EP, 'Old Dominion'.
2015Signed with RCA Nashville and released their debut studio album, 'Meat and Candy', featuring the No. 1 hit 'Break Up with Him'.
2017Released their second studio album, 'Happy Endings', which included No. 1 singles 'No Such Thing as a Broken Heart' and 'Written in the Sand'.
2018Released the single 'Make It Sweet,' which became a No. 1 hit and the namesake for their first headlining tour.
2019Released their self-titled third studio album, 'Old Dominion', which featured the chart-topping song 'One Man Band'.
2021Released their fourth studio album, 'Time, Tequila & Therapy', with the lead single 'I Was on a Boat That Day'.
2023Released the 'Memory Lane' EP in June, followed by the full 18-song 'Memory Lane' album in October.
2024Won ACM Group of the Year at the 59th ACM Awards, marking their seventh consecutive win in this category.
