Jason Derulo launched his career while still in his teens, first as a songwriter and later as a solo performer. Derulo began by scribing tracks for artists like Lil Wayne, Pitbull, and Pleasure P. Soon after, Derulo began making the transition to mainstream performer. His first hit arrived during the summer 2009, when "Whatcha Say," the song topped the Billboard charts and cracked the Top Ten in many countries around the world including Canada, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the U.K. A second single, "In My Head," peaked at number five in America, and Derulo's full-length debut album arrived in early 2010. He released his second studio album, Future History, in September 2011. The album was preceded by the release of the U.K. number-one single "Don't Wanna Go Home." Derulo's third album, Tattoos, was released in September 2013 and in 2015, he came out with Everything Is 4.
