Rachel Platten

Singer songwriter Rachel Platten rose to fame in 2015 with her third studio album and major-label debut, Wildfire, which reached number five in the US and spawned the top ten singles "Fight Song" and "Stand by You." "Fight Song" peaked at number six on Billboard Hot 100 and topped the UK Singles Chart. "Stand by You" peaked at number thirty-seven on Billboard Hot 100, becoming her second top 40 hit. Her 2011 single, "1,000 Ships," peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. An earlier song, "Seven Weeks," was used for the film The Good Guy. Platten toured with Colbie Caillat and Christina Perri on their "Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too Tour" throughout the summer of 2015. Platten announced on the Today Show that proceeds from the new acoustic version of “Fight Song” will benefit the National Compassion Fund, working to support the needs of people impacted by the Orlando nightclub massacre. Rachel Platten continues to tour, and her career continues to soar. She's a fighter! A very likable one with a great voice.
