Bleachers is the official stage name of Jack Antonoff, who was in the band Fun (“Carry On,” among other hits). Bleachers’ first single,“I Wanna Get Better” was released in 2014. While on the road with Fun, Antonoff secretly began working on Bleachers material. Bleachers’ first album was Strange Desire, which is highlighted by the upbeat anthem, “Rollercoaster.” On September 25, 2015, Bleachers released Terrible Thrills, Vol. 2, a "sequel" to Strange Desire with songs from Strange Desire being covered by numerous artists. Bleachers isn’t missing a beat. They released Gone Now in June 2017 and Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night 2021. In January 2022, Jack Antonoff tweeted "I am going to put out a bleachers album this year" with a tour to follow. Bleachers are no on the road – and surely filling up every seat in the bleachers - because they’re fun and very, very talented.
